About this place

The BeltLine is being built on a 22-mile loop of old railroad around the centre of Atlanta: multi-use trails and parks, with transit planned to follow, connecting 45 neighbourhoods. The finished stretches, above all the Eastside Trail from Piedmont Park to Inman Park, have become the city's promenade.

Walk it and you pass under the Art on the Atlanta BeltLine, which the project bills as the largest free public art exhibition in the Southeast, past Ponce City Market's back door and through a cross-section of the eastside. Tours, fitness classes and volunteer days run from the BeltLine's own calendar.
